A Slice of Indonesian Paradise

Set on the captivating Indonesian island of Sumba and opening this autumn, the eco-conscious Cap Karoso comprises a 47-room hotel and 20 elegant villas.

The resort grew from the love of two globe-trotting French adventurers, Fabrice and Evguenia Ivara, who were captivated by the island’s magnetic allure and unique Marapu culture. Architecture is courtesy of Gary Fell, and GFAB Architects, and behind every element of the build is an unwavering commitment to sustainability. This includes locally and sustainably sourced materials, and a French take on the use of traditional Sumba stone. Cap Karoso’s villa development programme combines hotel perks with optimum privacy. Villas are available for private buyers, with around 50% already reserved.

Villas from £281,000 / €327,000 / $398,000 for a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom managed villa
