Three years ago, a group of regional councils in Italy created an art trail following in the footsteps of the Renaissance master Piero della Francesca. Following this initiative, comes another form of artistic promenade created by Panzano Arte.
The trails take you into the heart of the famous wine making region of Chianti through ancient pathways peppered with 25 sculptures by French artist Nathalie Decoster. Panzano, a village set in the rolling hills between Florence and Siena, is the starting point for a walk that continues through the bucolic landscape, taking in four wineries.
