Bringing together some of the finest furniture, objects and works of art from members of the prestigious British Antique Dealers’ Association, all participating dealers must submit their objects for rigorous vetting before the fair opens. Whether purchasing a signature piece of jewellery by Cartier or Tiffany, 18th century furniture and clocks, Uzbek textiles or Chinese porcelain, collectors can be assured that every item has been authenticated and proven to be of the highest quality.
In addition to offerings from BADA Members, the fair will host a Loan Exhibition from the Gordon Russell Design Museum in Broadway. Sir Gordon Russell (1892-1980) is widely recognised as a key figure in the history of British furniture design. His company received high profile commissions from Her Majesty The Queen, David Lloyd George as well as Coventry Cathedral. Russell’s designs spanned a move from the Arts & Crafts movement to the modern, minimalist aesthetic that emerged during and after the Second World War.
From March 9th – 15th, 2016 at The Duke of York Square, Chelsea, London, UK
