This is the ultimate late summer garden party, taking place from Thursday, September 5th to Sunday, September 8th this year. Featuring the finest collection of mouthwatering supercars, hypercars and exquisite classic and vintage vehicles, along with a luxury retail village and sumptuous cuisine, all of this creates an unforgettable and unique experience.
Salon Privé is a relaxing yet stylish affair attracting owners, collectors, manufacturers and visitors from around the world. They converge on the stunning lawns of Blenheim Palace each September to share their passion and celebrate the automobile whilst at the same time, enjoying sumptuous lobster luncheons, Pommery Champagne and traditional afternoon tea.
The event splits into four separately themed days with the opening day, Thursday, September 5th dedicated to the world-renowned Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elégance. This attracts some of the rarest, most valuable and exquisite classic and vintage cars and bikes from around the world, most of which are very rarely seen. Fashion is particularly at the forefront on Friday, September 6th with Boodles Ladies’ Day, now a firm fixture on the UK’s social calendar. It’s a day of glamour and hats of all shapes, colours and sizes with the winning hat awarded a fabulous piece of Boodles jewellery.
The excitement continues into the weekend as the event celebrates the centenary anniversary of luxury British automotive brand – Bentley. On Saturday, September 7th, a carefully curated collection of 60 outstanding models will chart the history of the marque with judging and awards to end the day. Then, on Sunday, the newly-launched public day entitled Salon Privé Classic & Supercar will see in excess of 1,000 Bentleys attempt to break the record for the world’s largest-ever gathering of Bentleys! Also, on display that day will be 80 of the finest super and hyper cars parked in the Great Court following two days of driving some of southern England’s finest roads. The day and indeed, the whole event culminate in a suitably rousing grand depart through the Palace gates.
