Laura Smith is influenced predominately by her Bermuda roots, inspiration comes from the beautiful beaches of Bermuda as well as man-made objects absorbed into the sea. Vases, glassware and intricate chandeliers are hand-blown in her London studio. Laura’s signature look is blending various forms of copper, gold and silver with contemporary hand-blown glass.
Inspired by an isolated shower of cascading of water droplets, this Cascade Chandelier consists of 15 – 25 droplet pendants arranged in an organic flow. Pendants consist of bubbly, blue, hand-blown glass with silver inclusions creating distortions and magnifications.
