West Africa’s golden child is home to the Diamond in City project: a uniquely constructed mixed-use development enveloped by verdant landscape

Developed by Acacia Build, The Diamond in City project is a much-anticipated newcomer to the company’s portfolio in Ghana. The mixed-use development was designed to adapt to a visionary city that continues to evolve – one that will create harmony with its environment. The complex is noteworthy for numerous reasons; it offers unique modern living spaces to its users, displays architectural brilliance and cocoons its inhabitants from all external noise.

The project is comprised of four blocks: A, B, C and D, along with retail outlets. On the ground floor of blocks A and B you will find a continental restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy, laundromat, cafe, salon and spa and a gift shop. On the crown of blocks A and B sits a transparent glass swimming pool which will provide an unparalleled experience for its residents. A swimming pool with a pedestrian bridge is present in the middle of the common green area.

Although situated in a safe, affluent and prestigious neighbourhood of Cantonments, in close proximity to the Australian High Commission, Norwegian, Japanese and Russian Embassies as well as the Office of the President, The Jubilee House, no chances have been taken with security. The development is fitted with a state-of-the-art automated security system that can detect fires, thefts and floods, ensuring that resident’s safety and well-being is not compromised.

The interior manages a balancing act that is sophisticated and polished with materials reminiscent of European first-class standards; from elevators to generators, piping and cabling to finishing pieces. A play area and water slide keep company with a pool, whilst relaxation can be experienced under the shaded giant trees which create a luscious tropical haven. Residents also have access to a comprehensive indoor gym and reserved areas for active outdoor sports, including walking and running tracks, and rock climbing facilities. A roof-top fitness hall and general sports field serve as a tennis and basketball court – CrossFit devices on the roof areas are accessible 24/7.

For further convenience, multi-purpose rooms that could serve as conference and cinema halls, meeting rooms and a video game area are readily available. Residents may also enjoy a special open air-cinema called Cinema Havana, which will feature a Cuban concept with vintage cars as its seats. Whether it is down to the harmonious arrangement of modern and open spaces, the architectural brilliance and craftmanship, there is a sense of being able to breathe easily and rest comfortably in an atmosphere of serenity.
