The Concours of Elegance Highland Tour has been crowned ‘Tour of the Year’ at the International Historic Motoring Awards, beating a number of other world-class driving events. The Concours of Elegance 2015 was also nominated for ‘Motoring Event of the Year.’ The International Historic Motoring Award follows a highly acclaimed event at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.
Thousands of people passed through the palace gates over the course of three days to see some of the world’s rarest and most beautiful cars. Earlier in the year, the Concours of Elegance was named one of the six best Concours events in the world as part of the Peninsula Classics ‘Best of the Best’ Award. Established in 2012, the inaugural Concours of Elegance was held within Windsor Castle to mark the diamond jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen’s reign.
