Distinct interiors shaped by mood, material and a sense of place

Resort Living

A resort-inspired residence, Boca Bliss merges classic detail with modern ease

Boca Bliss is a residential project thoughtfully designed to provide a private resort destination experience. Comfortable, easy living with every imaginable amenity was the prerequisite for this deluxe renovation, where family and friends gather to reconnect for good food, entertainment and music.

The overall interior design and architecture of this home is a combination of classical elegance and modern luxury, resulting in spaces that feel both grand and intimately curated. Each room reflects an attention to detail, where rich materials, bold colours, and intricate finishes work in harmony to create a cohesive aesthetic.

The main entrance foyer, with its sweeping staircase and bold use of blue velvet wall panels, immediately sets the tone for the rest of the house, combining opulence with a sense of welcoming grandeur. Throughout, white millwork and plaster detailing add classical contrast to dark wood floors, contemporary furnishings, and striking textures.

In the piano room and bar lounge, dramatic palettes and luxe materials establish a mood of indulgence, while the family and living rooms shift toward softness and warmth. Across the home, curated pieces and dynamic lighting, along with modern and traditional elements, define a space that is both timeless and deeply personal.

Rural Refinement

A two-acre plot becomes a timeless, tech-savvy escape designed for everyday living

Set on a peaceful two-acre plot once home to a crumbling cottage, this striking four-bedroom modern farmhouse is the result of a full ground-up build led by interior designer Kunal Trehan, founder of Touched Interiors. Originally purchased in January 2017, the land’s potential was clear despite its overgrown state and structural issues. Now, the property offers an elegant blend of modern design and rural charm.

Construction began in late 2019, with the full build completed in 2021, overcoming delays from planning issues, flooding, and even a rogue contractor. The result is a meticulously designed smart home, filled with natural light, earthy materials and moments of quiet luxury. The neutral-toned kitchen-lounge is the home’s social heart, with a sculptural island and cantilevered doors opening out to landscaped gardens, sunken firepit and tree-lined driveway.

Each room has its own character, from the smoky quartz-clad dining room to a drawing room that transforms into a private cinema. The principal bedroom is a calming retreat, complete with vaulted ceilings, canal views and a golden “candlelight mode” glow.

With craftsmanship and technology in sync, this home feels as considered as it is personal — an inviting, rural retreat built for modern life.
