Eccleston Square Hotel
Built circa 1835, the handsome, Grade II listed, late Georgian townhouses of Ecclestone Square had very notable residents including a young Princess Victoria, Lord Louis Mountbatten and Sir Winston Churchill. The square’s secret, residential gardens were once the exclusive picnic spot for the elite residents and their high-society and royal friends, like Oscar Wilde. Even to this day, the private gardens of Eccleston Square are strictly for residents (and hotel guests).
In 2010, Parisian siblings Olivia and James Byrne acquired numbers 36 and 37 Eccleston Square and began the monumental transformation from the dilapidated hotel ‘The Elizabeth’ into the multi-award winning Eccleston Square Hotel. Following a £6.5 million refurbishment, and aged just 23 years old when the hotel opened in 2011, Oliva went on to become London’s youngest hotelier.
Eccleston Square Hotel has 39 beautifully designed hi-tech rooms, a petite restaurant, private bar, and media lounge. Combining forward-thinking intuitive technology with sophisticated interiors and sleek service, each detail of Eccleston Square Hotel has been carefully designed with wellbeing in mind.
Each guestroom has either garden or city views, some have private courtyards, others beautiful balconies. Split across three categories; City Queen, City King and Signature King, all rooms and suites offer an exquisite array of complimentary, luxurious products and services.
