Crossing disciplines as diverse as photography, drawing, sculpture and mural painting, this Basque artist has been rewarded for his energetic 30-year career with a retrospective at the Guggenheim Bilbao. Entitled ‘Panorama’, the 100 works on show are a visual puzzle where disciplines cross, spacial rules are broken and textures mislead. The show invites viewers to become part of Irazu’s artistic world, an immersive experience that will consolidate Pello’s reputation as one of the foremost renovators of contemporary Basque and Spanish sculpture.
