Seabourn Odyssey – The Largest and Most Spacious of Her Sister Ships

Seabourn Odyssey is more than triple the dimensions of her sister ships, Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Legend, yet her guest capacity is just twice as high. She was named in Venice in June, 2009, following which guests on her maiden voyage were all honoured as the ship’s godparents and a plaque bearing their names was permanently mounted on board. There are 225 ocean-view suites divided into 13 categories, with interior measurements from 295 to over 1,200 square feet. What’s more, an impressive 90 per cent have private verandas, which add from 65 to over 350 square feet of additional private living space.
The exceptional Wintergarden Suites have a private, glassed-in solarium complete with a soaking tub and lounging bed. This particular suite also features a veranda that bows outwards, giving wonderful views along the side of the ship. The Signature Suites, located all the way forward on Deck 7, have over 900 square feet of inside space and feature a spectacular wrap-around veranda of 353 square feet.
In addition to providing larger suites, Seabourn Odyssey’s additional size is utilised to create more open deck space as well as a variety of public rooms and dining venues. Sea air is renowned for giving one a healthy appetite and, as you would expect, the food and restaurants on board are superb. Seabourn is a proud member of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, one of the world’s most prestigious gastronomic societies devoted to the art of fine dining. Therefore, the ship’s award-winning cuisine includes the finest quality ingredients, infused with authentic regional flavours, freshly prepared by skilled chefs and served beautifully. Seabourn Odyssey’s choice of dining venues are almost all open-seating, inviting guests to dine where, when and with whom they wish.
Choices range from the sophisticated fine dining ambiance of The Restaurant, a more casual indoor/outdoor venue or in the comfort of your own suite or veranda. Complimentary fine wines are served with lunch and dinner to enhance each culinary experience. The Spa at Seabourn allows guest to relax and fully rejuvenate while enjoying their cruise. A full range of natural spa treatments and therapies range from massages and facials to body treatments and wraps. Guests may also take full advantage of the ship’s sauna, steam room and beauty salon during their voyage.
