What’s New, What’s Next, and What’s Making Noise In Motoring! From Standout Releases and Sharp Design to the Latest Shifts in Performance and Style

Performance Essentials

The Porsche 911 Carrera T returns for 2025 as a focused, driver-oriented coupe. Offered exclusively with a six-speed manual gearbox, it weighs 3,316 lbs, making it the lightest 911 Carrera coupe in the line-up. Power comes from a 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six producing 388 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque, good for 0–60 mph in 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 183 mph.

Standard equipment includes rear-axle steering, a mechanical limited-slip differential, and PASM suspension lowered by 10 mm. The Sport Chrono Package adds a steering wheel-mounted drive mode selector, auto-blip function, and Track Precision App integration.

Inside, the coupe features a walnut-topped shift knob, plaid Sport-Tex seat inserts, and Vanadium Grey accents. Reduced sound insulation and a standard Sport Exhaust system bring the engine note to the foreground. Optional carbon bucket seats and lightweight glass amplify the stripped-back character. The 911 Carrera T coupe is built for connection, not distraction, and is also available in a cabriolet version.

Bespoke Detail

Bentley has revealed ‘The Black Rose’ – a one-off customer commission and one of only three right-hand-drive Baturs. This vehicle debuts the use of 3D printed solid rose gold in an automotive interior, featuring up to 210 grams of hallmarked 18-karat rose gold crafted by Cooksongold.

The exterior is finished in bespoke Black Rose paint, accented with satin Rose Gold on the grille, mirror caps, and 22″ tri-tone wheels. Inside, Beluga leather, charcoal tweed, and Black Rose-painted veneers frame key driver touchpoints finished in rose gold, including the Drive Mode Selector and Organ Stop vent controls. Produced using 100% recycled jewellery, these elements reflect Bentley’s commitment to sustainable luxury. All rose gold parts are hallmarked in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

The Black Rose is part of Bentley’s 18-car Batur series, built by Mulliner’s bespoke division, and showcases both innovative finishes and the level of personalisation available, from aerospace-inspired materials to leather alternatives derived from coffee by-products.

Commanding Presence

The Black Badge Spectre is the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever built. Drawing on data from hundreds of thousands of miles driven by Black Badge clients, it delivers 659 PS and 1,075 Nm of torque, available instantly through a new Infinity Mode. Spirited Mode unleashes maximum torque for short bursts, echoing the power boosts of the Merlin engine in historic aircraft. Chassis tuning sharpens handling while preserving the signature Rolls-Royce ride.

Aesthetically, Spectre introduces Vapour Violet paint, a glowing Pantheon Grille backed by coloured illumination, and a new 23-inch forged wheel design. Inside, the Infinity symbol recurs in the illuminated fascia and stitched leather, set against Technical Fibre finishes and over 5,500 illuminated ‘stars.’ Digital instrumentation can be customised in five vivid themes. Every element reflects the bold, anti-conventional mindset of Black Badge clients. Developed in response to their demand, and even tested by a clandestine group of early owners, Black Badge Spectre is as technical as it is expressive, built without compromise.

Clean Power

Genesis has revealed the first-ever redesign of the Electrified GV70, adding new layers of precision inside and out. Set to launch in Korea in early 2025, with Europe to follow, the upgraded model introduces a sharper, more confident presence.

At the front, a reworked Crest Grille with G-Matrix pattern is framed by MLA Two-Line headlamps, improving both visibility and design. The rear sees relocated indicators and cleaner lines, while new 20-inch wheels complete the profile. Inside, a 27-inch widescreen integrates cluster and infotainment into one fluid interface.

Touch-sensitive climate controls replace physical switches, and upgraded mood lighting stretches from the doors to the centre console. A new “Milky Way” lighting pattern, aluminium speaker covers, and a Bang & Olufsen audio system raise the bar for in-cabin feel. A fresh “Icy Blue/Glacier White” interior option joins the palette. Combining modern tech with Genesis’ “Athletic Elegance” and “Beauty of White Space” principles, the GV70’s update leans into subtle refinement over flash.
