Heaven on the high seas
The bold interior of Madsummer brings together bright reds, whites and, most extensively, blues. The brief from the owner was to incorporate colours and textures in a way that was both stylish and contemporary but also homely and personal and the resulting 95-metre superyacht represents the first collaborative effort for two companies, Eidsgaard Design and Lürssen. Enjoying every luxury, including a helipad, two tenders and storage for a seaplane, the yacht boasts ten striking cabins, each with their own colour scheme.
The sundeck, which can be converted to a dancefloor, is home to a gym including a kinesis machine and hidden television screens. The main deck, is home to the impressive 9-metre pool and Jacuzzi. Here, the teak gently curls to meet the sides of the pool, creating a visually striking, flush surface that reflects the subtle curves of the yacht’s exterior lines. On the lower deck is the yacht’s spa and wellness retreat – a calming, quiet space, with intricate mosaic tiles and lacquered wood details.
