Christiaan van der Klaauw presents the Planetarium ‘Julie’, a singular creation conceived in collaboration with a dedicated collector. Inspired by the collector’s young daughter, the watch combines unprecedented customisation with technical mastery.

The Planetarium complication, the smallest mechanical planetarium in the world, displays Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn in real time. Its skeletonised design integrates the CVDK sun logo, with bridges cut and finished by hand, featuring over seventy inward angles. The dial, crafted from transparent sapphire crystal, showcases hand-applied Hindu and Arabic indexes while Julie’s profile is engraved on the rotating barrel.

The CKM-01 movement is fully customised, with skeletonised bridges, rhodium plating, and a titanium case. The bezel is made of 4.6-billion-year-old meteorite, bearing a natural Widmanstätten pattern. As part of the Collection of the Atelier, collectors can collaborate with the team to create a completely unique astronomical timepiece tailored to their preferences.
