This Palais Tsarskoye Selo locket features red guilloché enamel and 17 round white diamonds set in 18 karat yellow and rose gold. The locket opens to reveal the traditional Fabergé surprise – in this instance, a delicate pink enamel pig with diamond eyes.
It is designed to commemorate Fabergé’s first individual creations for the Chinese New Year when, in 1911, master craftsman Francois Birbaum was commissioned by the royal court of Siam to make a series of objets and trinkets for the Year of the Pig.
