A superb example of a steel Rolex GMT reference 6542, manufactured in 1960, this watch is in extraordinary condition. Its black lacquer dial features gilt printing, while the lumes have aged in a warm ivory tone. Launched in 1955, reference 6542 represents the very first GMT-Master: features include no crown guards, a Bakelite bezel insert and a fourth hand, which allowed pilots to calculate a second time-zone.
