This basement pool design was part of the large-scale refurbishment of a Grade II listed Manor House in the UK.
Aqua Platinum were commissioned to design and build the pool and spa using traditional materials throughout to create a calm atmosphere, and ensure that the natural surroundings remain the focus of the occupant’s experience. The result is an 18m lap pool with eight columns passing through the water. Alongside this feature are double-sized steps running the entire length of the pool, with strip lighting and a bespoke cantilever tile detail. The pool hall is now complete with a unique eight-person spa, with LED strip lighting and warm jets. Due to the domed ceiling heights, the hall also includes detailed ducting design and external glazing.
