McLaren has unveiled the MCL-HY, its FIA Hypercar entry for the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship, signalling a return to the top tier of endurance racing and to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Developed through an intensive 2026 test programme ahead of homologation, the car represents a significant step in the brand’s sporting ambitions and its pursuit of the Triple Crown of motorsport.
Presented in a 2026 test livery inspired by the M6A, the design nods to McLaren’s heritage, from Can-Am success to victory at Le Mans in 1995 with the McLaren F1 GTR. The Hypercar programme began on-track testing in May 2026, supporting preparations for the 2027 WEC season and marking a bold new chapter in McLaren’s motorsport evolution, driven by innovation and competitive ambition.
Alongside the race car, McLaren has revealed the MCL-HY GTR track variant for select clients under Project: Endurance. Powered solely by a 2.9-litre twin-turbo engine producing around 730PS, it offers a highly focused driving experience, paired with an exclusive track programme and full race-team support.

Pure Performance
Rolls-Royce has unveiled Project Nightingale, the first Coachbuild Collection model, presented at
Goodwood. Limited to 100 examples, the open-top two-seater combines bespoke craftsmanship with a fully electric drivetrain and will enter production testing this summer, with deliveries from 2028.
The design draws inspiration from the marque’s experimental ‘EX’ motor cars of the 1920s and from Streamline Moderne principles, expressed through clean surfacing and a continuous central line. Built on the aluminium spaceframe Architecture of Luxury, the car features a long bonnet, slim vertical headlamps and a sculpted rear with precision lighting elements. Inside, a new palette and the Starlight Breeze illumination system create a calm environment shaped by the rhythm of birdsong.
Offered by invitation only, the programme is aimed at clients seeking the highest level of personalisation, with each commission carefully configured in collaboration with the marque’s designers and craftspeople. Deliveries will commence in 2028 after an extensive global testing and validation programme beginning this summer at the factory.

Dragonfly Inspiration
Within Bugatti Sur Mesure, the W16 Mistral 'Fly Bug' continues
a series of collector commissions inspired by insects and natural forms. It follows earlier projects including the Hellbug, Hellbee
and Lady Bug, each referencing small creatures translated into exterior graphics.
For the Fly Bug, designers developed an ellipse motif spreading across the body and fading towards the rear sections. A bespoke Dragonfly Blue finish shifts between blue and turquoise, echoing the iridescence of dragonfly wings under changing light
The interior features layered materials combining leather and Alcantara with geometric patterns extended onto door panels and armrests. The Bugatti Macaron was integrated into the flank design, requiring precise alignment to maintain clarity of detail. Final assembly took months, reflecting close collaboration between design, engineering and bespoke craftsmanship teams in Molsheim and Berlin.

Electric Evolution
Inspired by the unmistakable silhouette of the 911, the new Cayenne Coupe Electric brings a fresh chapter to the marque’s large SUV line-up. Its gently sloping roofline, known internally as the flyline, shapes a profile that feels purposeful and athletic, while precise detailing and clean surfacing underline its modern character. From the A-pillar rearwards, the bodywork has been tailored to create a distinctive coupé form, complemented by an adaptive rear spoiler and carefully integrated rear glazing.
The car’s aerodynamic design contributes to an impressive drag coefficient of 0.23, helping to extend driving range and improve efficiency. Beneath the surface, 800-volt architecture enables rapid DC charging, supporting long-distance use with minimal delay. Three powertrains will be available at launch, ranging from a capable entry model to a high-performance Turbo variant. All versions feature adaptive air suspension as standard, combining comfort with control. Practicality remains central, with generous luggage capacity, flexible rear seating and towing ability, ensuring everyday usability alongside strong performance credentials.

The Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition, created by Bentley Mulliner in collaboration with the Gstaad Guy, brings a chalet-inspired vision to the Bentayga EWB Azure. Designed as a refined Alpine companion, it combines bespoke craftsmanship with a calm, cocooning cabin, shaped around comfort, discretion and the rituals of sophisticated mountain travel.
Saddle leather, tweed detailing, Liquid Amber wood and Fireglow accents create warmth and tactility, while four comfort seats and Naim for Bentley audio support long journeys. Subtle branding, including embroidered Alpine Flower motifs and discreet exterior badging, reflects the Gstaad Guy’s aesthetic.
The Light Tudor Grey exterior, hand-finished over around 60 hours, pairs with Bronze trim and restrained detailing.
