Cadillac has unveiled the Opulent Velocity concept, embodying cutting-edge electric performance and refined luxury.
This innovative vehicle brings together fully autonomous driving technology and a sleek, high-performance aesthetic, aimed at shaping the future of the Cadillac V-Series.
Opulent Velocity offers two distinct driving experiences: Opulent and Velocity. In Opulent mode, the focus is on comfort and relaxation, leveraging Level 4 autonomous capabilities to deliver a hands-free, multi-sensory experience. The cabin is enhanced with carefully curated light, sound, and art to provide a sophisticated, immersive atmosphere.
Velocity mode, on the other hand, transforms the vehicle into a performance-focused machine. The driver can take control via a steering wheel and pedals. With performance inspired by Cadillac’s Blackwing engineering, it offers thrilling driving dynamics, coupled with advanced features like augmented reality displays.
Externally, the sleek coupe features butterfly doors and a sculpted, aerodynamic profile, ensuring the Opulent Velocity stands out as both a futuristic and luxurious electric vehicle.
Aerodynamic Engineering
Lamborghini has introduced the Temerario, a super sports car powered by a groundbreaking twin-turbo V8 hybrid engine. This latest model, revealed at Monterey Car Week 2024, delivers 920 CV through a combination of an entirely new twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors. It reaches a top speed of over 340 km/h (210+ mph) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds.
As part of Lamborghini’s High-Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) range, the Temerario completes the brand’s shift towards hybrid technology, following the introduction of the Urus SE and Revuelto. Designed in Sant’Agata Bolognese, this model is the first production supercar capable of reaching 10,000 rpm.
The car’s aluminium chassis enhances both torsional rigidity and passenger comfort, offering more space than any other vehicle in its class. The Temerario sets a new standard for Lamborghini, combining aerodynamics, innovative technology, and sustainable power.
